Why is creative risk important?
The Casting Director wants to see our imagination, and like all of us, they too want to be entertained. Creative risk means that we can demonstrate the courage to push the proverbial envelope within the bounds of the instructions provided to us in the casting brief. Never ignore the casting instructions, yet rather, be prepared to get as creative as you can, showing the Casting Director something they haven’t seen in the previous one hundred plus talent who cast before you.
